famPLUS initiates DIN SPEC

Finding good childcare, suitable care for elderly relatives, help around the house, preferably through a professional agency that provides advice and makes a preliminary selection, greatly facilitates the balance between work and family. However, the market of providers is large and confusing. How can a private customer or employer know which agency is reliable, competent, and provides good information, advice, and mediation?

To clearly answer this question for the consumer, famPLUS, together with other market players, politics, and research, developed the DIN SPEC 77003 "Personal and Household-related Services - Information, Consultation and Mediation" between June 2013 and March 2015. The DIN SPEC will be presented to the public on June 19, 2015, in Berlin, and as part of a workshop for interested parties, participants will answer questions, take suggestions, and provide space for networking.

Interested parties are warmly invited to attend the event of the Competence Center „Professionalization and Quality Assurance of Household-Related Services“ (PQHD) to attend. Further information on registration and a draft program will follow.
